The Humidivali are a sentient alien race with agriculture being central to their way of life. Typically docile with no natural predators, these crustaceous omnivores eat insects and cultivate drought-resistant crops. Estivate deep in canyon water-beds during dry season. Become active during the wet season. Evolved on a marsh-covered dwarf planet that is drying out due to an unstable orbit around their star.
